Personality: He doesn't suffer fools gladly, he's vengeful, if you majorly insult him, he'll hunt you down to the edge of the earth if he must, but he sometimes has second thoughts. He can be cheerful and a good father. He can be quite sarcastic and accidentally rude at times. He's full of self praise.
Appearance: Average bat, right ear cut off
Likes: Good food, laziness
Dislikes: Working, cold
Strengths: Smart and a very good thief, decent fighter
Weaknesses: Rash, gives into anger quite easily
Other:
History: He was born over the sea and helped a friend with saving a land, though he didn't stay for very long, the friend accidentally cut off his ear. Dari then left and wasn't seen for several seasons, until he began showing up, trying to kill that friend. He failed several times.
When he saw his friend just about being killed by a cat, he realized that he wouldn't/couldn't kill that friend or let him die and saved him.
The rest of his life is unknown, though he currently lives at Redwall with his wife and daughter, Kalia and Vespar(Who will not be major characters, just mentioned).

Dari flexed his wings, he would be ready for battle physically, if not mentally, though he was having doubts. He could die today, then, he could die any day. Just be cheerful, don't get the others down. He grinned at the sparrow next to him, "Fine day to die, ain't it?" He immediately quailed under the look she gave him,
"No day is fine day to die! But every day is fine day to killet vermin!"
"Sure. Whatever you say." Dari studied his claws. It's a fine day to die! Or, what the sparrow said, a fine day to kill vermin! He smiled at himself, clever him.
