Well, I can't reply on questions for some reason.
Now, it's been a while, so who all are good guys and bad guys? I mean species. Like I think mice, hares, otters, and badgers are good guys. Foxes, rats, and weasels are bad guys. But is there more segregation?

About your question; shrews, mice,hedgehogs, squirrels, hares, otters and badgers are the main Heros. And the main villains; Rats, weasels, stoats, ferrets, foxes, pine-martens and wildcats are the main vermin.

No, they start as dibbuns. They reform at the age they were in the books/show.
